• North Poland manages to make ahead-of-time progress in rebuilding after a devastating war with East Poland some 10 years ago.
• The first Zeppelin flight is carried out over Lake Constance near Friedrichshafen, Germany.

Asia/Oceania

• A group favoring Kamatchkan nationalism and greater independence from Japan's influence.

• Brazil: The Emperor inspects the road network of Brazil, and it is found wanting. Work begins on repairing the roads, and building new roads. This creates jobs for the unemployed in Brazil, and has the two-fold affect of both beginning the repairs of our great nation, and also of injecting much needed funds into the economy, as people have more loose money, so spend more freely, improving the economy. We offer a trade deal with Britannia, where they give us technology, in exchange for the raw resources of Brazil. The Army is trained more, but the Emperor infiltrates it with spies, to report back on any dissent within the military. Propaganda plays up the excellence of the Emperor. We begin to create a more Constitutional Monarchical System, and the position of President is created.
• Ottoman Empire: Abdul Hamid starts to increase his military and navy. More ships are being built for the navy. New roads the connect every part of the empire is starting to be made. This makes jobs for the unemployed people of the nation. Oil rigs are being set up to extract oil from the ground. Factories are mass producing military and navy stuff. 
• Kingdom of Lithuania: The king, Casmir the X, begins the century by beginning to build several large rail-lines throughout Lithuania. A large rail depot is positioned just south of St. Petersburg on the Lithuanian side of the border. The national infrastructure improves quickly as thousands of laborers are employed on the projects. A national census is held, the Population of Lithuania stands at roughly: 21,293,000. Assistance is sent to support North Poland. A secret NAP is offered to Germany, which will also include West and North Poland.”
  • North Poland: We continue to recover from the war, making excellent speed due to Lithuanian assistance. Many of our damaged cities and roads have been repaired, however it will be another 5 years until we reach pre-war levels of infrastructure.
• Britannia: accepts proposed Tasmanian trade deal. The current leader King Danny I died with his son Prince Arthur (In Gaelic Arta) taking over. Talk are also being requested with the Dutch about Biafra. In the entire empire a census of how many men for war there is; how many women and children and how many men in total. The average daily earnings were also recorded and the information has been declared confidential until fifty years from now.

• California: With the Aztecs to the South, Deseret to the East and Acadia to the North, California is surrounded by possible threats. Seeing Acadia as the most hostile, we propose to Deseret and Appalachia (mod response needed) The Alliance of the Rio Grande, as well as offering the Aztecs an NAP. We update our military, focusing on a navy that can protect California's coastal waters. Infrastructure is worked over as well. In an effort to boost the economy, we offer the Empire of Brazil a trade agreement.
  • Appalachia (MOD): We accept the alliance offer.
• Aztec Empire: With the culture of Aztecs remaining, their only aspect dropped was religion, embracing christianity allowed Spain to keep from a slaughter. The Emperor, Emperor Cuahtemoc XIX, is excited to take the throne. As the Empire begins to gets its footing, it is a huge producer of chocolate and retained much of its gold making it quite profitable. The military is upgraded and expanded. With a deep seated rivalry between the Aztecs and Mayans, the Aztecs mobilize the military along the borders. We accept the NAP request from the great republic of California. We offer them trading properties. The emperor begins assessing the lines which are to be drawn in the sand; and which kingdoms stand where in the sand. If the Californians wish to remain an NAP, so be it, the Emperor will happily look else where. Much Spanish-Azteca culture is influenced in architecture as the two kingdoms became quick friends with the lack of hostility. As the Aztecs only wished to learn, they were able to befriend the Spanish, they adopted much of their culture, although continued to implement their own. Elite squadrons are created and partition the military into organized groups. The elite unit will be the Panther Elite, followed by the brute special forces, the Jaguar Elite. Juan de Crosdios is allowing the Aztec to begin learning more from the Spanish military in return for gold, and other European technologies which might balance the Aztecs against other rising nations. Also have the upper hand against these still not-so-hostile-yet Mayans.

The country begins a population growth. A small Apache uprising is put down by the military. Natives are pressured to convert to Mormonism. Some Mormons begin to move into cities, seeing more opportunity than agriculture.
• German Empire: We celebrate the first successful flight of the Zeppelin. We start doing daily Zeppelin rides from country to country and start selling them to other countries. We accept the NAP from the Kingdom of Lithuania and ask for an alliance. Other Minerals we mine are also processed. We create a state-run processing system, and the cities that benefit from it, Belo Horizonte and Rio de Janeiro, the unemployed percentage is reduced, as many begin to work in the Factories, or at the docks. Plantations continue to grow throughout the interior, although more workers are moving to industrial jobs in the cities. We begin to increase worker rights, and this lowers the number of deaths in the plantations. Work begins on creating Tractors and Combine Harvesters, to make the Plantations more efficient. Some Petrol Tractors are imported from abroad, and the Government sets up "Brazilian Farm Equipment Co." to manufacture Tractors and other farming equipment for Brazilian Plantations, and hope to export them throughout South America and other areas where there are Plantations, as they are specifically designed for working in Humid Conditions, and working on large Plantations, where there are natural obstacles, such as steep slopes, and irrigation ditches, as opposed to the equipment designed in North America and Europe, which is aimed more at Farmland, and Fields, rather than vast plantation. We begin to influence Uruguay and Paraguay. • German Empire: We are happy to know things are going pretty well. Wilhelm II comes to the Order of Garter. Wilhelm II also participates in the unveiling of the Joan of Arc statue. We improve our infrastructure and ask if we could buy a prototype mobile phone. Zepplelins are now the new way to travel in the German Empire, and currently zepplelin workers are making small, cheap, zepplelins to replace other rides. We help the Japanese in their natural accident with relief support and ask if they would like an alliance.

• Occidentia: We recongize the new government in the United States of Central America, and support the revoltionarys. The North American War has become a bloodbath of conflictm as we utilizes the newly formed Occidentian Air Force which currently is at a strength of 20 aircraft. It is meanly used for scouting, but some have the idea of dropping bombs upon the enemy. The War Command welcomes this idea, but there aren't enough Aircraft for it to work. However, on the ground, things are getting grim: Hansbore, a key city in western Occidentia, has become the scene of a bloodbath, as Californian and Deseretan forces attack the city. While they are repelled after a ten month battle, the cost in lives is staggering: over 320,000 Occidentian troops are dead, and many more wounded. Anti-war movements begin to gain steam, but we have vowed to win. Propaganda is used in the war, and we request that Germany give us military aid and weaponry, AND ASK THE SAME OF JAPAN. We blockade the North American East Coast, as a warning to all sips that would supply our enemies. We warn that any ship carrying weapons to our enemies is FAIR GAME IN THE RULES OF WAR, but have not done so yet, merely warning them to stay away.

• Lithuania: Military: Due to growing population generals think that Augustas should increase the army budget and so he does. Regular army is increased to 250,000 men and new system of training men when they reach suitable age is implemented. From now every school or university will have to provide basic training (USSR system with some changes). After the school people will have an option to join advanced army training for one year, if they make it all the way thru they get official document. It is necessary to serve in the national organisations, government etc., people that have this document also get higher priority when applying for national colleges, universities or private jobs (since army provides physical and psychological training). Other big change are planes, since there are no mass production prototypes king simply orders to make our own prototype, one for reconnaissance and one for destroying mobile targets like ships, trains and armored cars. The scout plane is almost done. However, the "bomber" is much harder as idea of carrying grenades is impractical due to small explosion power and low accuracy, and idea of carrying bigger devices requires far more advanced planes. Armored car production continues and soon it will be possible to create AC corps. Factories also bump up production of mortars. Few mortars are tested as anti-ac weapon and prove themselves really efficient when shooting directly at the target. Economy: We continue modernising our agriculture along with food industry. Cities and towns continue to grow as more and more industrial workers are needed. Almost 20 years after the first light bulb lit up in Lithuania, we finaly get down to testing electricity and small power plants are installed near government buildings so they could use electricity (for lighting ofc). Some existing EPP's are funded to grow bigger and provide more electricity for more users. As HEPP project from 1904 proven itself pretty useful we continue encouraging this kind of electricity. By major electrification we hope to get our industry to new levels of efficiency. As more tax money flow into the budget king orders massive civil infrastructure upgrades to be made until year 1920. 170 new schools, 90 local hospitals, 150 PD's and similar amount of Fire stations, 2 new universities and 5 colleges, several thousands kilometers of new roads and a bit smaller amount of upgrades on existing roads. • Brazil: Roads continue to be repaired and created, and more railroads are created. This creates jobs for the unemployed in Brazil, and has the two-fold affect of both beginning the repairs of our great nation, and also of injecting much needed funds into the economy, as people have more loose money, so spend more freely, improving the economy. We offer a trade deal with Britannia, where they give us technology, in exchange for the raw resources of Brazil. The Army is trained more, but the Emperor infiltrates it with spies, to report back on any dissent within the military. The Monarchist Sect is infiltrated, but instead of creating martyrs, the government appoints them as official bodyguards to the Emperor, away from the rest of the Army. The Minister for Industry is aghast to discover that Brazil imports Iron, as it cannot process the iron mined here, and sets to work creating Factories where Iron can be processed into Steel, and Iron Ore can be smelted. We create a state-run processing system, and the cities that benefit from it, Belo Horizonte and Rio de Janeiro, the unemployed percentage is reduced, as many begin to work in the Factories, or at the docks. Plantations continue to grow throughout the interior, although more workers are moving to industrial jobs in the cities. We begin to increase worker rights, and this lowers the number of deaths in the plantations. Work begins on creating Tractors and Combine Harvesters, to make the Plantations more efficient. Some Petrol Tractors are imported from abroad, and the Government sets up "Brazilian Farm Equipment Co." to manufacture Tractors and other farming equipment for Brazilian Plantations, and hope to export them throughout South America and other areas where there are Plantations, as they are specifically designed for working in Humid Conditions, and working on large Plantations, where there are natural obstacles, such as steep slopes, and irrigation ditches, as opposed to the equipment designed in North America and Europe, which is aimed more at Farmland, and Fields, rather than vast plantation. We begin to create a Merchant Fleet, which sails from Rio de Janeiro. Rainforest Wood is exported around the world. Hearing of the Wright Brothers success, we send several Brazilian Scientists to study their plane, and try to duplicate it. We send money to the Wright Brothers in payment for this. We condemn the North American War. Oil is drilled throughout Brazil, where it is. We declare war on Occidentia.

2. California and Appalachia will pay reparations to the victorious nations just enough to raise the winning nation economy back to pre war levels and military of Britain only back to pre war levels but not so lowering losing nations economy or military.
3. Northern California will be ceded to Occidentia.
4. Oklahoma and Arkansas will be ceded to Occidentia.
5. An independent republic of Texas will be created from Appalachia.
6. The Aztec Empire will receive some of southern California, save Baja.
7. Half of Californian naval vessels will be divided between the Aztec Empire, Britannia, and Occidentia.
8. An area stretching from Sonoma to El Dorado and south to San Bentio and Mono will be demilitarized, so as to prevent attack from California upon Occidentia.

Lithuania: Military: With growing army our military headquarters are concerned about one of its weakest branches. Since Lithuania throughout its history was based around Vilnius region, our ports are underdeveloped, so is navy. As part of our infrastructural project we plan to modernise all of our ports. Navy creation is included to the "military project" so we would at least have ways to defend ourselves in Baltic. Unfortunately we have no big shipyards to build Battleships and such, so we order them from abroad. For upcoming 20 years the plan is like this: 7 battleships, 5 cruisers, 10 light cruisers and 20 destroyers to buy. 20 destroyers, 30 torpedo boats and 50 transport ships to build. But as we only have about 20 percents of money required, Augustas plans to take loans that could make 60 percents of total. Last 20 percents will remain a problem for now but it may be possible that Army will sell navy bonds (like war bond in ww2 USA) and later give privileges to the ones who bought them. Economy: We continue modernising our agriculture along with food industry. Cities and towns continue to grow as more and more industrial workers are needed. More and more HEPP's are built so we spend less on coal for electricity. Infrastructure project is going well and may be even finished before 1920. Despite all of the successfull projects on increasing exports and overal income country still lacks money to make its army powerful on continental level. To have more gain from exports we expand our main ports: Klaipeda, Riga, Tallinn, Ventspils, Kaliningrad and Liepaja. Naval bases are created in Palanga, Klaipeda and Riga. To build and upgrade all of these only lithuanian materials are bought (when it is possible) and only lithuanian citizens can work there, ensuring that the expenses generate as much money circulation as possible. National Reserve is established so in the future we could avoid situations that we have now. 1 percent of country budget will go to reserve annualy, until it reaches suitable level.
