Points of Difference[]
Listed below are the points of difference to the OTL world.
America[]
- The first permanant landing there was made by the French which strengthened the two nation's relations later on considerably
- Jamestown was founded by Franco-Americans
- Plymouth Colony was attacked by natives in 1635 driving out the English settlers there
- The British army invades in 1760 and immediately pushes up the Mississippi River
- Boston was burnt down by British redcoats so the Boston Tea Party never happened
- George Washington is killed when a cannon backfires next to him. Instead his brother, Tommy Washington (non-existant) leads the rebellion. He is a better general and wins far more battles, completely driving the British out
- The Treaty of Paris never happened so Britain still wants America back
- The Spanish-American war was far more bloody and the US lost far more troops
- The USA take no part in the Korean war and North Korea takes South Korea
- Brazil succesfully invades Chile, Bolivia, and Paraguay
- Argentina is crushed in the Falklands war and becomes communist in 1981
Europe[]
- England won the 100 years war against France but pulls out 20 years later after French rebels became too powerful
- The Magna Carta was never renounced
- In 1300 the English monarchy was completely overthrown
- Wales was conquered by England in 1300
- Scotland and Ireland were British by 1500
- France was smashed by the English but by 1700 its people were beginning to send out explorers to foreign lands
- The French Revolution never happened
- The Roman Empire managed to recover from its downfall and invaded Germany as revenge. It burnt all of the German settlements and then retreated leaving Germany as a wasteland full of fierce tribes
- Attila the Hun was excecuted in Rome
- The Ottoman Empire receded but kept its power
- Turkey conquered all of Cyprus
- The Minoans were never wiped out. Is this 100% necessary? I doubt it
- World War 1 and 2 didn't happen
Asia[]
- The Great Wall of China never existed
- The Chinese never built an empire
- Japan took over Micronesia
- A huge political coup happened simletaniously all over Asia in 1986
Africa[]
- The Republic of Congo never existed
- Zululand built up a South African Empire
Oceania[]
- Australia set its sights on New Zealand and repeatedly attacks, each time repelled by the New Zealanders
History[]
2nd American civil war in 1939. Most of the states form their own nations from the turmoil. Europe is dominated by the epicentres of dozens of small, and large empires. As the pressure begins to build what will happen next?
