Welcome to Map Game of Thrones II, a map game based on the popular novel series A Song of Ice and Fire, and the accompanying HBO television show, Game of Thrones. The original attempt to make a Game of Thrones based map game ended fairly abruptly, and as such the second game has been created to take its place.
It has been 297 years since Aegon the Conqueror Targaryen first conquered Westeros and created the Iron Throne. After almost three centuries of rule over the continent, the Targaryens were dethroned by Robert of House Baratheon, as retribution for the kidnapping of Lyanna Stark by Rheagar Targaryen, and the brutal cruelty of the mad king, Aerys II. Robert Baratheon was crowned king, and for fourteen years has ruled in an uneasy peace. Little does he know factions across Westeros and the known world are conspiring, and soon the Iron Throne will be at war once more.

The Game[]

Fourteen years have passed since Robert of House Baratheon usurped the Iron Throne from King Aerys II and House Targaryen. Since the war the realm has been mostly stable and peaceful, however old feuds from the war and beyond still burn deep in the hearts of nobles across the kingdom, and some plot Targaryen restoration or something new completely.
Euron Greyjoy, brother of Lord Balon Greyjoy of the Iron Isles, is banished from the isles after he is caught seducing their brother Victarion's salt wife. Victarion is halted from killing his brother only because of the taboo against kinslaying. Balon warns Euron not to return to the Iron Isles while he still rules.
Viserys Targaryen, nicknamed the Beggar King, and his sister Daenerys, are taken in by magister Illyrio Mopatis in Pentos.
Turns are currently six months each. During periods of major war this will likely be reduced to three months each.
Dorne: Doran Martell continues plotting against Tywin Lannister in secret, as revenge for ordering the death of his sister Elia and her children. Amory Lorch and Gregor Clegane are also targets of this plot for their involvement in the murders. As part of this plan, Arianne Martell was promised to Viserys Targaryen while he was in Braavos with Ser Willem Darry, however since then Dorne has largely left the “Beggar King” unsupported. Doran’s brother Oberyn continues to travel the known world creating allies, and placing his daughters in strategic locations. Sarella Sand begins studying under Maester Marwyn in the Citadel, learning dark magic and use of glass candles. Additionally Doran and Oberyn begin assembling a mercenary company in secret, composed of sellswords from Essos and Dornish allies. The company becomes known as the Brave Companions, and begins service across Westeros and the Narrow Sea raising funds through warring and raiding. Dorne begins increasing relations with various free cities, with Oberyn spending time in Lys personally, and fathering a child with a noblewoman from Volantis. Doran’s marriage to Mellario of Norvos promotes good relations in Norvos as well. Word reaches Dorne of Viserys Targaryen’s move to Pentos under the magister Illyrio Mopatis, which Doran considers a success; by not supporting his apparent claimant to the throne Illyrio took him in instead, and Doran assumes gifted the Targaryens dragon eggs. Doran next begins planning ways to seize the eggs or their hatched dragons from the Targaryens, and waits for the situation to continue developing. One of Oberyn’s old companies and allies, the Second Sons, remains in position in Essos as a possible tool to take the dragons. Allies are placed in King’s Landing, including Aron Santagar as master-at-arms of the Red Keep.
House Lannister of Casterly Rock: Tywin ponders on his legacy, as Jaime, his oldest son, has joined the Kingsguard and is thus ineglible. He is horrified by the thought that Tyrion would inherit the Rock, yet he also doesn't desire Cersei as his heir. Unable to find a solution right now, the issue annoys Tywin. The year is uneventful and little happens in the Westerlands.
The Crossing: Lothar the Lame is replaced by Andrey Charlton, Lord of Mistlewood, while Lothar becomes Master of Laws instead. The bastard Walder Rivers, as master-at-arms of the Twins, begins training men in our holdings. An additional tax is collected by Willamen Frey, hoping to raise funds for additional defenses and equipment. Symond Frey is sent as a diplomat and representative to House Tully of Riverrun, but in secret he begins establishing a spy network, and uses Frey funds to bribe allies and establish ties within the city. Boras Terrick, only son of Lord Gendry Wycombe is wed to Walder Frey’s daughter Tyta. Corrine Wayn, daughter of Lord Utherydes of Chiltern is wed to Walder’s son Perwyn. Walder’s son Willamen is wed to Imocen Keath, heir to the Lordship of Green Fork. Walder’s granddaughter Alyx is wed to Ser Lucas, heir to the Lordship of Harroway’s Town. Walda Frey, son of Walton, is wed to Garion Hawick, heir to the Lordship of Saltpans. Shirei Frey is betrothed to Lyman Darry. Walda Rivers is wed to William Mooton. Willamen Frey is wed to Gohilde Stackspear. Aenys is wed to Roslyn Grell. Olyvar Frey is wed to Lyria Lychester.
House Baelish of the Fingers: After being appointed head of customs at Gulltown by Lysa Tully of the Vale, Petyr Baelish’s financial skills manage to heavily increase profits, allowing him to rise to the rank of master of coin in King’s Landing. Petyr continues to transform the crown’s finances, laundering or appropriating large sums of money into his own businesses and endeavors. This money is partially used to finance the Goldcloaks, who through Petyr’s ally Janos Slynt, is increased to a tremendous number. A well trained force of city watch emerges, largely loyal to Petyr Baelish than anyone else. Some of the funds Petyr invest go to forming a household guard in The Fingers, improving defenses over his hold, and training his own forces. Some 650 levies are expected to be ready for war, while another 100 men make up his retinue by the end of the program. A private navy is also constructed, although very minor. Petyr continues his relationship with Lysa in secret, manipulating her to have Mandon Moore appointed to the Kingsguard from the Vale, as a loyal knight inside the capital. Other allies include Lothor Brune and Oswell Kettleblack, two of Baelish’s main knights in the capital. Petyr Baelish purposely drains the Iron Throne of finances, hoping to put the throne into debt. After learning of incest between Jaime and Cersei Lannister, Petyr leaks the information in secret to the members of the Small Council, while ensuring that the king remains in the dark. In secret Petyr begins having numerous affairs while in King’s Landing, including Ermesande, wife of Ser Bryce of The Dragon Gate, Sibylla, wife of Ser Pandes the spider of The King’s Gate, and numerous others.

The Vale: Lysa Arryn begins to fear for her son Robin, and feels uneasy in King’s Landing. Jon Arryn learns of the incest between Cersei and Jaime Lannister from Littlefinger, but as of yet is unsure what to do with that information, and keeps it to himself.
Night's Watch: The current leader is Jeor Mormont. The military has approximately 1,000 troops. The higher officers ride horses for transportation. We send a scouting party into the other side of the wall to The Haunted Forest. Benjen Stark is the head of the scouting party. We are curios to see what is on the other side of the wall. Since the weather is always cold, we have to import crops from other places to fee our population.
House Bolton of the Dreadfort: Upon hearing that the Targaryen babes are still alive and even in the court of Illyrio Mopatis of Pentos, Roose Bolton scoffs at this pathetic information and continues to plan for any upcoming wars in the forseeable future. He politely asks Eddard Stark to make him Head Spymaster of the North in order to protect Eddard from any assassination attempts, and ignores Ramsay Snow's plea for him to be legitimized.

Iron Isles: We continue rebuilding the Iron Fleet after the disastrous Greyjoy Rebellion. Euron sets out to pillage and raid in Essos, and begins seeking out a dragon horn in order to bind a dragon to him. He travels to Valayria in search of the artifact, but as of yet remains empty handed.
In the North, things happen. Ned Stark unveils his plan to begin resettling the Gift, as a means to help the Night's Watch gain more resources and all that nonsense. Lady Catelyn Stark becomes pregnant again. Men are sent out into the Wolfswood to begin getting wood to build things in the Gift.
Dragonstone: Stannis Baratheon, as Master of the ships in the Small Council is secretly informed of the peculiar situation of the two Lannisters, Jaime and Cersei. With this confirming his suspicions, he attempts to contact Petyr Baelish, Jon Arryn and potentially the rest of the Small Council to decide as to how to handle this vital information. He calls for Davos Seaworth to sail Black Betha to King's Landing, citing that he has an assignment for him. Stannis then, as Master of the Sea, musters new members of crows of warships which are loyal to him, in order to gain an upper hand fleet-wise. Folowing the information about the two Targaryen, Stannis shows no reaction, for he considers them no threat. Stannis also attempts to improve his relations with his wife, knowing that she still has a son to give birth to.
House Ryswell: Defenses are constructed along the coast of the Rills to protect against possible Ironborn raids. Men are also trained in major holdings, in order to ensure sufficient levies can be raised during times of war. Lord Rodrick’s youngest son, Roose, leaves the Rills determined to make a name for himself. He founds the Loose Goose Mercenary Company, with its first members being select men from the Rills and childhood friends.

Illyrio Mopatis, serving as patron to the exiled Viserys and Daenerys Targaryen, arranges a marriage between Princess Daenerys and Khal Drogo, a powerful Dothraki warlord, during one of Drogo's visits to Pentos. Drogo and Daenerys are wed near the end of the year, and in exchange Drogo pledges a large army of Dothraki warriors to Viserys’ campaign to retake the Iron Throne.
Their party departs from Pentos and into the Dothraki Sea, taking the three dragon eggs with them. Before they depart Pentos, as part of his plan to restore Aegon to the throne, the conservative Illyrio installs the spy Jorah Mormont with Daenerys. Mormont begins sending information to Illyrio and Varys across the Narrow Sea, while Varys sets out to keep the peace in King’s Landing while the Targaryen claimants prepare for their invasion. Jorah is also urged to take Daenerys to Asshai after Vaes Dothrak, as a way of hatching her dragons.
Plague strikes Slaver’s Bay, harming the city of Meereen in particular. A number of slaves and aristocrats alike die from illness.
House Bolton of the Dreadfort: As Head Spymaster of the North, Roose Bolton and his heir Domeric leaves the Dreadfort for Winterfell, leaving Ramsay Snow as Lord of the Dreadfort while Roose and Domeric is gone. Ramsay improves the inner infrastructure of the Dreadfort Castle, and recruits 500 more loyal Dreadfort guards. We also propose a betrothal between Domeric and Eddard's daughter Arya.
- House Stark rejects this offer, citing the great age difference between Domeric Bolton and Arya Stark. However, Lord Stark agrees to help Domeric find a more suitable match.
- Why would Roose allow Ramsay to be in the Dreadfort? He basically ignored his existence until Domeric died.
- Well, this is ahistorical, and I also believe Roose would at least appoint Ramsay to some worthy position while him and Domeric are gone.
The Free City of Volantis continues to expand the capital, Volantis, and major cities on the Rhoyne, such as Volysar. While the era of wars and destruction shortly after the Doom of Valyria is over with the overthrow of the Tigers, and the implementation of the elephant party as the dominant ruling party, many citizens of Volantis begin to shift back towards the Tiger Party, not satisfied with the power of Volantis as an international power on Essos. With the Elephant party still in power. Hoping to rival the power of the Iron Bank, the Triarchs of Volantis build the Golden Bank of Volantis, run by the nation of Volantis itself. The city's main religion begins to shift to Rhallor, or the Lord of Light. The idea of bringing the entire Rhoyne under Volantis' control begins in the capital.
Night's Watch: The military has approximately 1,000 troops. The higher officers ride horses for transportation. The scouting party comes back to Castle Black with good news. Benjen Stark tells Jeor Mormont that there is a substantial woodland lying north of the Wall, beyond the northern border of the Seven Kingdoms. Jeor is excited for the good news and tells a group of lumber jacks to cut some trees down to be used. The scouting party goes with the lumber jacks to make sure they stay safe. With Many resources coming into our territory from the North, we thank Ned Stark for helping us out. We are happy Lady Catelyn Stark becomes pregnant again and hopes she gives birth to a boy so we can recruit him later on. Do to the old age of Jeor Mormont, we ask his son Jorah Mormont to take his place after he dies. If Jorah Mormont can't become leader after his father dies,
then either Cotter Pyke or Benjen Stark will become the next leader of the watch.
In the North, the plan to resettle the Gift continues and great progress is made. Lord Roose Bolton and his son are received in Winterfell and a feast is thrown in their honor. Lady Stark continues to be pregnant. Nothing else of note.
In Starfall, Lord Edric Dayne's kinsman, Ser Gerold Dayne of High Hermitage, rules as regent because the Lord is currently being squired in Blackhaven by Lord Beric Dondarrion, who is married to Edric's aunt. The Lord's squireship continues to be successful, and Edric learns much about being a knight from Beric Dondarrion. Meanwhile in Starfall, Ser Gerold Dayne continues his reign as regent. He maintains the infrastructure of Starfall and the relationships between the Daynes and the smallfolk of the realm. The military of Starfall is also kept up to par.
Dragonstone: Stannis awaits for Petyr's and Arryn's answer. He calls for Davos Seaworth to sail Black Betha to King's Landing, citing that he has an assignment for him. Stannis continues improving relations with his wife, attempting to finally have an heir, but without luck.

House Lannister of Casterly Rock: Tywin proposes(in secret) to his brother, Kevan Lannister, would be his heir. While Kevan is honored, he declines and instead suggests his eldest son Lancel to be his heir. Tywin considers the proposal. Little happens in the Westerlands.
House Baelish of the Fingers: Petyr Baelish secretly convinces Stannis Baratheon that Stannis is King Robert's heir, but advises him to keep the secret quiet for fear that the Lannisters may retaliate against him. Petyr recommends that Jon Arryn have his son Robert educated by Stannis at Dragonstone, or a different court, in order to keep him safe and away from any potential violence in King's Landing. Petyr then secretly relays this information to Lysa. Since Lysa Arryn is overly protective of her son, Petyr convinces her they want to take him away and harm him, and the only way to stop them is to poison her husband Jon. Once Jon has been poisoned, Lysa will be able to escape back to the Vale with Robert, preventing him from being educated elsewhere. Petyr also advises Lysa to blame the event on the Lannisters via a message to her sister Catelyn. hopefully provoking further conflict between the Lannisters and Starks. Petyr continues to transform the crown’s finances, laundering or appropriating large sums of money into his own businesses and endeavors. This money is partially used to finance the Goldcloaks, who through Petyr’s ally Janos Slynt, is increased to a tremendous number. A well trained force of city watch emerges, largely loyal to Petyr Baelish than anyone else. Some of the funds Petyr invest go to forming a household guard in The Fingers, improving defenses over his hold, and training his own forces. Some 650 levies are expected to be ready for war, while another 100 men make up his retinue by the end of the program. A private navy is also constructed, although very minor. Petyr continues his relationship with Lysa in secret, manipulating her to have Mandon Moore appointed to the Kingsguard from the Vale, as a loyal knight inside the capital. Other allies include Lothor Brune and Oswell Kettleblack, two of Baelish’s main knights in the capital. Petyr Baelish purposely drains the Iron Throne of finances, hoping to put the throne into debt.

Dorne: It is reported that Viserys and Daenerys Targaryen are in possession of three dragon eggs and en route to the east. For now Doran is largely powerless to intervene in any significant but discreet way, and only monitors the situation from afar. Doran makes a secret proposition to House Darry, a known Targaryen sympathizer, and tells them to burn a few villages in the Riverlands. The attacks will be blamed on the Lannisters, forcing the crown to retaliate against the Westerlands. Gregor Clegane is also blamed as the leader of these raids, allowing the Riverlands to have him condemned as well. Ser Ulwyck Uller of Dorne, one of Oberyn’s knights, is dispatched to the Riverlands to aid in this operation. The Brave Companions also begin recruiting in the Riverlands, and plan to aid in the fake raids.
- The Mountain is fairly noticable. I think people would know if he was conducting these raids or not. Also this requires the Darrys to either burn their own land (which doesn't make sense) or burn someone else's land, which would be noticed by that someone else.
The Crossing: The Freys continue to establish a spy network in Riverrun, bribing and placing important allies and spies across the Riverlands. After a dozen different dynastic marriages this year, the Freys successfully establish alliances all across the region. Soldiers continue to be trained, and taxes are collected at The Crossing.
Bolton Diplomacy: We propose an alliance with the Freys.- Meta much?
Riverlands: We begin a period of military buildup and economic expansion, as we begin to provide investments into nearby lands, and begin to expand domestic trade within the Riverlands, and among the rest of the Houses. Collecting taxes from local citizenship begins. Meanwhile, Hoster Tully of the House of Tully passes away of disease, as Edmure Tully takes the reigns of power. Meanwhile, noting some unusual activity occurring in The Crossing, the first order of Edmure as Lord of the Riverlands, he begins to send the local authorities to investigate, and while not seeking to damage relations with House Frey, Edmure decides to remain cautious about making negotiations with the Freys, noting their recent marriages and unusual expansion rate across the Riverlands. As a result, some fear that the Freys may actually be preparing for war against House Tully, although Edmure is not as concerned as these officials. Some of these officials even consider notifying Robert I himself, although this is kept to a select few officials.
- Crossing Diplomacy: Walder Frey laughs at the young lord Edmure Tully's provocation, calling him a paranoid fool. He states that if Edmure truly does not want war, he will agree to wed Walder's daughter Roslin, and connect their two rival dynasties.
- Riverlands Diplomacy: And under what position are you to make such demands? We are merely conducting an investigation, not trying to aggressively attack House Frey.
The Vale: Lysa Arryn, blinded by love for Petyr Baelish and her over protectiveness for Robert, agrees to the plot to murder her husband Jon Arryn. After poisoning Jon, Lysa flees back to The Eyrie with Robert, where she believes no one will be able to seize him. Lysa also sends a secret message to Catelyn, saying that the Lannisters are responsible for the murder. Additionally Lysa has one hundred-twenty good men raised to travel in secret to the Riverlands. This group is ordered to counterattack against the supposed Lannister raiders, believing that if Edmure is too afraid to act, she must instead. Overall however, Lysa ends any provocation of war, desiring only to keep Robert safe.

The Tourney on Prince Joffrey's twelfth name day is held in King’s Landing. Loras Tyrell unhorses Jaime Lannister during the jousting tournament, and is crowned the champion.
A few days after the tourney in King’s Landing, hand of the king Jon Arryn suddenly falls ill to an assumed stomach illness. Jon Arryn dies soon after, his last words being, “The seed is strong.” Jon Arryn’s widow, Lysa, mysteriously disappears from King’s Landing, taking their young son Robert with her.
Robert Baratheon and his court travel to Winterfell after the death of Robert Arryn. While in the North, Robert asks Eddard Stark to be his new Hand of the King. Additionally Catelyn receives the letter sent by Lysa, and is led to believe the Lannisters were responsible for the murder of Jon Arryn. Just before the party departs back to King’s Landing, Bran Stark falls from an old tower in Winterfell, falling into a coma.
A little more than a month before her fourteenth birthday, Daenerys Targaryen becomes pregnant. The Targaryens and Khal Drogo continue their journey toward Vaes Dothrak, with Daenerys becoming increasingly bold and defiant of her brother’s wishes.
With various mercenary companies, armed groups, and different factions raiding the Riverlands, numerous hamlets in the eastern Riverlands are attacked. Additionally violence breaks out near Mummer's Ford that results in several deaths. House Darry and many of the nearby smallfolk blame the attack on Gregor Clegane, or the Lannisters as a whole, although no side has any definitive proof that the Mountain had involvement in any raiding.
The Vale: Lysa learns of the assassination attempt on Bran Stark from her lover Petyr Baelish, and is led to believe that her actions were justified, given that the Lannisters are capable of striking in Winterfell. Paranoid about her son leaving her grasps, especially after the startling event with Bran, Lysa sends a letter to Catelyn politely declining her offer, however secretly announces her intentions to capture Tyrion Lannister, and asks for her to travel to The Eyrie with a company of guards to have him stand trial. The Valemen Lysa positioned near Darry find Tyrion at the Crossroads Inn nearby and have him arrested.

House Bolton of the Dreadfort: Upon hearing news of Jon Arryn's death, Roose Bolton believes that the Lannisters possibly killed the Hand of the King. Roose's heir Domeric suddenly becomes ill with a stomach virus, and seems to be slowly dying. In preparation, Roose sends a raven to his bastard Ramsay Snow in the Dreadfort, wishing for him to travel to Winterfell. Ramsay then travels to Winterfell with only his loyal servant Reek at his side.
- Ned Stark tasks Roose Bolton with the project of resettling the Gift and asks him to travel there to oversee the progress.

In the North, Lady Catelyn Stark gives birth to twins earlier than expected, a girl and then a boy. The girl is named Lynara and her brother is named Lucas. However, the birth put a great strain upon Lady Stark, who remained ill in her bed for a long while. Ned Stark later takes his older sons out to witness the beheading of a Night's Watch deserter. There they find eight direwolf pups, which they bring back to Winterfell as pets for the Stark children. Later, when King Robert comes North to ask Ned to be the new Hand, he refuses, citing his wife's illness and his new young children. Howeer, his wife insists that he goes south after receiving a letter from her sister that implies that the Lannister may pose a danger to the king. Also, since Jon Arryn is dead, Ned asks his late mentor's wife, Lysa, if she would like her son Robert to be tutored with his cousins in Winterfell. Ned goes south with his daughters Sansa and Arya, leaving Robb Stark and Jon Snow in charge of Winterfell. The family greatsword, Ice, is also left behind. Robb Stark receives news of raiders and bandits causing trouble in the Dreadfort lands, and asks Ramsay Snow to return there and end the trouble. In King's Landing, Ned Stark begins investigating the suspicious death of Jon Arryn. He also learns that the Crown is in debt and begins looking for a way to solve this problem. Jon Snow arrives in the capital, bearing news from the North. The Lannisters may have been involved in Bran's fall and the attack on Bran's life. Jon Snow also brings 20 good men to be added to the Stark household guard in King's Landing.
- Stannis the Mannis (Dragonstone) Diplomacy: Stannis informs Eddard upon his arrival about the incest between the two Lannisters, Jaime and Cersei and thus also about the status of Joffrey and Tommen as heirs to the Iron Throne.
- Ned Stark is shocked to learn this and decides that he must being preparing for war with the Lannisters. Robb Stark receives a raven from his father informing him of this and he prepares to call the banners in case of war. Ned Stark also begins searching for more allies in King's Landing who would help support the rightful heir to the throne.
House Baelish of the Fingers: Petyr Baelish hires an assassin in the North to make an attempt on Bran Stark’s life. The blade used in the attack is one that Tyrion Lannister supposedly won from him during the tourney in King’s Landing, however Baelish actually bet against Jaime Lannister and won the blade. Although Petyr doesn’t expect the assassination to succeed, he has enough evidence to plot the murder on Tyrion, who is conveniently not in the capital at the time. Petyr writes Lysa about the attack, claiming that Tyrion may also send a similar attack against Robert, helping to induce paranoia in the woman. Upon hearing of conflict in the Riverlands between various outlaws and raiders, Petyr sends twenty men from the city watch, impersonating House Lannister, to attack small villages near the Trident. The raid is a success, however the lead knight is killed, and the party wanders off the a nearby alehouse. Their true identities remain unknown as a result. Petyr hopes that someone will retaliate against the actual Lannisters, causing a legitimate conflict to break out. To aid to this end, Petyr also meets with the new hand of the king and pushes him toward uncovering for himself that Jon Arryn was murdered, while pinning the event on the Lannisters. Baelish is able to slowly befriend Eddard Stark, under the guise of an old family friend. Planning begins for the Hand of the King Tourney, which Petyr arranges to be even more extravagant than Joffrey’s name day. It is arranged that Ser Hugh of the Vale, the only witness to Jon Arryn’s activities before his death, while compete against the Mountain. The knight’s newly formed armor is funded partially by the crown in Arryn’s honor, and Petyr has the armor tampered with so that it has a weak point at the neck. Petyr expects Ser Hugh to be killed as a result, preventing Eddard Stark from digging too deep into Jon Arryn’s murder, while also convincing him that the Lannisters may be involved. Baelish threatens Cersei with telling Robert about the incest, in the hopes that she will act against the king.
- I thought Joffrey hired the catspaw? Also, not fond of Petyr Baelish, he fought Ned's brother for Ned's (now) wife's hand.
- In the books Ned is fairly trusting of Petyr, since they seemingly work together to uncover the murder. The duel was decades ago too.
- This game is ahistorical. Although Petyr Baelish probably didn't hire the assassin in the books, in this game he does. Any similarities between the two attacks are coincidental. And I didn't mean to impose on you that Eddard Stark must be cordial with Petyr. The Crossing: Although Freylands themselves are not targeted, the Freys become concerned over the apparent raiding and pillaging in the southern Riverlands during Hoster Tully’s weakened state. Many of Walder Frey’s allies are attacked, and as such he demands Edmure Tully defend the Riverlands from these attacks, advising him to raise an army in Riverrun. Willamen Frey raises the men of Green Fork on behalf of the Keaths, and is prepared to retaliate against the Lannisters. The lords of the southern Riverlands are also advised to beseech the king for aid.
Riverlands: With the recent raids in the Riverlands, Edmure responds with full-on lethal force against the raiders, and decides to take manners into the hands of House Tully, and begins to ask the houses that were blamed of evidence to regard that they did or did not support these attacks. However, in the scenario that they do, Edmure commences the rallying of several troops in Riverrun, in accordance with the recommendation of the Freys, although some officials recommend that they are sent to help with the investigation on the Freys' activities instead, which continues. However, thus far, no evidence of criminal activities are reported, but some officials demand further push into the investigations. Meanwhile, our usual buildup of our military, tax collections and economic expansion continues.

Just saying, the first tourney was one year ago, and the second tourney isn't until next turn, so that isn't a very good alibi. The tourneys and raids didn't happen at the same time, there's a year and a half in between. Not to mention he could raid the Riverlands on the way to and from. Even in the books he is shown to cause mischief while riding back from the second tourney. Also you might want to react to the fact that Tyrion was just captured.
In Starfall, the Regent, Ser Gerold Dayne, continues to maintain the infrastructure of Starfall and the surrounding lands, as well as his lands of High Hermitage and their surrounding lands. The military of House Dayne also continues to be kept up to par in the case of any unfortunate circumstances in the future. Meanwhile, Lord Edric Dayne continues his squireship under Lord Beric Dondarrion. They leave for the Tourney of the Hand in Kings Landing, which Lord Beric Dondarrion wishes to participate in. While there Lord Edric chances upon Arya Stark, who is two years younger than the Lord. He discovers her martial interests and is intrigued. Though at first strangers, the shy Edric and the fiery Arya become friends quite quickly.
House Lannister of Casterly Rock: Noticing the frequent raids in the Riverlands a small border patrol guard is created to prevent these raids from coming into the Westerlands. Tywin attends both Tourneys this year. In response to the capture of Tywin's son Tyrion, Tywin gathers two armies at Casterly Rock, one of 15.000 and one of 20.000. He then orders Gregor Clegane to raid the Riverlands(specifically the villages along the Red Fork) and create chaos there and make it difficult for Tully's bannerman to go to Riverrun. Cersei Lannister, in response to Petyr Bealish's threats, orders Lancel(Robert's squire) to give Robert too much wine to prevent Robert from finding out about Joffrey, Tommen and Myrcella. The attempt succeeds and Robert is slain by a boar.

Next turn is when Robert dies after all, so there is nothing wrong with a player writing in their turn their intention to do an act at least. Do to a tragic lost we ask Jeor Mormont's son Jorah Mormont if he would like to be the leader of our watch. Cotter Pyke becomes the next leader. Since there are many raids going on, all towns and villages in the territory called the wall are put in high alert.

Lys: A new Senate is elected, but the Great Consul and Triads remain in their places for life (I looked around and couldn't fine anything on how Lys's government operates, so I'm just going with this). The Senate, being elected by rich merchants, is more militaristic this time around, and propose and increase in spending on the navy, and many new ships are built, reinforcing Lys's place as having one of the most powerful navies of the Free Cities. A new branch of the government completely dedicated to espionage is also created. Slaves continue to be exported far and wide, but a few minor laws are passed protecting them from inhumane treatment to help bolster Lys's foreign image. Expeditions are sent to properly map trade routes all the way to Qarth and the Summer Islands, but it will require time for results to show.
- Lys Commerece: As exports in slaves remain rather constant, emissaries are sent both to the East to find new buyers, and merchants are sent to lobby in Westeros to legalize slavery to an extent. The merchant fleed is expanded, and production and exports of both wine and poison increase.
Dragonstone: Davos Seaworth continues the mobilization of Dragonston. Stannis then, as Master of the Sea, continues mustering new members of crews of warships which are loyal to him, in order to gain an upper hand fleet-wise. Stannis continues improving relations with his wife, and it bears fruit. Stannis' wife becomes pregnant and Stannis hopes that he will at last have an heir.
The High Paramount of the Reach: Lord of the Highgarden, Mace Tyrell celebrates the victory of his son, Loras Tyrell with a mighty feast. Meanwhile, Randyll Tarly assumes the position of Lord of Horn Hill and raises the size of the military to 5000. Moreover, he is particular in diverting a certain amount of funds in order to keep the state military on par with that of others, with most troops being equipped with well-maintained and modern equipment, with plate armour being commonly used. The state navy is placed under Grand Admiral, Lord Paxter Redwyne of Arbor who likewise directs funds to the Redwyne fleet, as it is naturally assumed that by establishing naval superiority, the position of the Reach would drastically improve within the Seven Kingdoms. Along the same time, the High Paramount of the Reach serves as the epicentre for regional production of food and various other commodities such as wine.

The Hand’s Tourney is held by Robert Baratheon in King’s Landing in honor of the newly selected Eddard Stark. Former champion Jaime Lannister defeats Andar Royce, Bryce Caron, and Barristan Selmy, before being defeated by Sandor Clegane. Beric Dondarrion defeats a hedge knight, before being defeated by Thoros of Myr. Gregor Clegane faces off against Ser Hugh of the Vale, and kills the young knight. Loras Tyrell defeats Meryn Trant and several others, before defeating Gregor Clegane in the semi-final tilt. Sandor Clegane defeats Renly Baratheon as well, before winning the tournament upon Loras Tyrell’s yielding of the final match.
Gregor Clegane, after killing his tourney horse in a rage, rides with his companions from King’s Landing back to the Westerlands. En route he takes out his frustration on the Riverlands smallfolk.
Viserys and Daenerys Targaryen arrive with Khal Drogo to the city of Vaes Dothrak. While drunk, Viserys confronts Daenerys and Drogo about his army, and Drogo has him crowned with molten gold, killing the Targaryen.
Benjen Stark of the Night’s Watch departs on a ranging, but mysteriously disappears and does not return to the Wall after. This prompts some in the Night’s Watch to propose a “Great Ranging”, to scout out the immediate area and attempt to find Benjen.
Jaime Lannister confronts Eddard Stark in the street wanting revenge for the capture of Tyrion Lannister. A melee ensues, and Eddard’s leg is wounded. Robert Baratheon is mortally wounded and dies after hunting near King’s Landing, placing Eddard temporarily in charge of the Iron Throne.
But I had nothing to do with that? That was the Arryns. If anything, Jaime should be in the Riverlands commanding his father's army.
Well Ned didn't have anything to do with it the actual time either. And it's up to the Westerlands player to have Jaime appointed to an army, but as of now he hasn't.
Ned's wife captured Tyrion in the canon. Here, it was done by men working for his wife's sister? If anything he should attack Baelish since he's a Valeman or whatever.
Representatives from Darry and other cities in the Riverlands, as well as various peasants, beseech Eddard Stark to send an army against the raiders in the region. The Lannisters are blamed for the entire affair, particularly Gregor Clegane.
House Bolton of the Dreadfort: While Roose Bolton continues to re-settle the Gift, a raven arrives to him saying that his heir, Domeric has passed away from his stomach virus. Roose is not too phased by this, and continues working, while Ramsay Snow returns to the Dreadfort to quell any rebellions against his father's rule.
Ned Stark continues to do things in King's Landing. He discovers a bastard of Robert's, a smith's apprentice called Gendry. Ned Stark dispatches Ser Loras Tyrell and 100 men to end the trouble in the Riverlands in the name of the king. Also, while helping Stannis plan his ascent, Ned decides that his children must be safe and sends Arya and Sansa to Dragonstone with Jon Snow. They arrive there and spend some time with Stannis' household until they depart again for White Harbor. more later
Lys: The fleet continues to be expanded, and the port on the main island is expanded. Several expeditions return, but not all, and the Cartographers' Guild waits patiently; further expeditions are also sent to the South, looking for both sources of slaves and markets, with the intent of further mapping the West coast of Sorthoryos. The City also buys three hundred healthy and strong slaves, all of which pure bred Lysians, tall and blonde-haired, both male and female, and begins breeding them for a state-owned slave force. A well-armed fleet is also sent to clear pirates of the Stepstones and thoroughly map the landscape of all unclaimed islands, and map the coasts of all Tyroshi claimed islands.
- Lys Diplomacy: Offers two dozen trained entertainers and fine wine, as well as clearly-marked poison as gifts to Volantis, and Dorne, in hopes of improving relations and trade. The city also offers a non-aggression pact and further border negotiations with Volantis regarding the Disputed Lands to breed peace and cooperation between the two cities.

'House Lannister of Casterly Rock: 'In response to the capture of Tywin's son Tyrion, Tywin gathers two armies at Casterly Rock, one of 15.000 and one of 20.000. Tywin commands the army of 20.000 while Jaime commands the army of 15.000. Jaime's army attacks Riverland troops at the border near the Golden Tooth, with the intent of chasing those troops to Riverrun and taking the castle.
Night's Watch: The military has approximately 2,000 troops. With Many resources coming into our territory from the North, we continue thank Ned Stark for helping us out. Jeor Mormont dies from a terrible disease this winter. This is the first official year with Cotter Pyke as our new leader. Since there are many raids going on, all towns and villages in the territory called the Wall are put in high alert. We take the offer of cheap slaves that the Lys give us. Since we are getting slaves from the Lys, we add them to our military. Our navy takes 6 boats with raiders to Bear island to take over.
- I'd also just like to point out that slavery is banned in Westeros, so keeping the slaves as a status of slave after joining the historically knightly order of the Night's watch would come under extreme criticism with out at least some vocal justification.

The Free City of Volantis continues to expand the capital, Volantis, and major cities on the Rhoyne, such as Volysar. While the era of wars and destruction shortly after the Doom of Valyria is over with the overthrow of the Tigers, and the implementation of the elephant party as the dominant ruling party, many citizens of Volantis begin to shift back towards the Tiger Party, not satisfied with the power of Volantis as an international power on Essos. With the Elephant party still in power. Hoping to rival the power of the Iron Bank, the Triarchs of Volantis build the Golden Bank of Volantis, run by the nation of Volantis itself. The city's main religion begins to shift to Rhallor, or the Lord of Light. The idea of bringing the entire Rhoyne under Volantis' control begins in the capital. We accept the Lys gifts, sending a message back, saying that if they do not expand past the Rhoyne, our two states will have no disputes.
House Umber of Last Hearth grows increasingly concerned as the Night's Watch embraces slavery, declaring that "slavery has no place in the North". Lord "Greatjon" Umber calls up some troops in precaution. Meanwhile, longships are built to repel wildling raiders, with shipwrights hired out of the Free Cities to provide designs. Influence is also exerted on some Skagosi clans, bringing part of the island under Umber influence. When the Night's Watch invades Bear Island, Lord Umber calls his banners and marches on Castle Black and Eastwatch, declaring his intent to free the slaves, restore the king's justice and replace Cotter Pyke with a leader who accepts the principle that "the Night's Watch takes no part". House Umber calls on the Starks to defend their bannermen the Mormonts, and on the other northern houses to help restore the Night's Watch.

House Reed of Greywater Watch Lord Howland Reed noting the increased tension in the South and drama at the Wall decides to begin to refortify Moat Cailin and rebuild its towers for its defensive position as part of his service to Eddard the Warden of the North. Meanwhile his daughter, Meera, gathers a small band of 200 men and marches north to aid the Umbars deciding the slaves must be allowed the option of joining the nights watch not the decision made for them but wishes for no violence between the Nights Watch and the men of the North hoping the threat of the attack will be enough to gain results.

Lannister forces invading the Riverlands from the west defeat a Riverlander army under Edmure Tully at the Battle of Riverrun. Edmure Tully is captured along with many of his knights, and the remaining Riverlander army is scattered. Requests are sent to the Vale and the North for assistance against the Westerlands.
Raids by Gregor Clegane and other Lannister hired or supported companies, such as the Brave Companions, continue across the Riverlands, slowing mobilization of forces loyal to House Tully. Ser Loras Tyrell and the men sent out with him die at Clegane's hand at the Mummer's Ford.
Joffrey Baratheon succeeds his father Robert as king, but for now governmental power is vested in Eddard Stark as regent. Renly Baratheon flees King’s Landing for Storm’s End, and orders the armies of the Stormlands to be mobilized for war, possibly acting on the belief that Joffrey is illegitimate.
Khal Drogo becomes ill with an infection after a duel and becomes mortally wounded. The Martells hire the healer Mirri Maz Duur, a former apprentice of Maester Marwyn, to attempt to heal Drogo and capture her dragons, however Khal Drogo dies anyway. However, at the same time, Daenerys gives birth to a son, Rhaego. During Khal Drogo’s funeral pyre, Daenerys walks into the flames and emerges with her hatched dragons. A great number of men form a new khalasar behind Rhaego and Daenerys and they cross the Red Waste to Qarth.

In Starfall, Ser Gerold Dayne continues to manage the infrastructure and military of Starfall and the surrounding lands of House Dayne, as well as his lands of High Hermitage and their surrounding lands. Meanwhile, Lord Edric Dayne returns to Blackhaven with his guardian and tutor, Lord Beric Dondarrion, as well as his sister and Beric's wife, Ashara Dayne. After they return Blackhaven, Lord Edric's squireship continues, though he misses Arya.
Dragonstone: (Sorry for missing last turn, I was lacking a connection) Stannis Baratheon, currently in Dragonstone as he wished to witness the birth of his son (name will come later) issues a large-scale mobilization of his forces, since he doesn't acknowledge Joffrey as Robert's heir. He sends a message to Ned Stark to inform Stannis about the situation in King's Landing following Joffrey's illegitimate ascension to the throne.

Since we are continuing to get slaves from the Lys, we add them to our military. Since we are adding all slaves to the military they no longer have the status of slave anymore. At the age of 27 Cotter Pyke marries a lady of the name Ygritte. The Lord Commander founder her wondering north of the wall one day and he could not keep his eyes off of her.

With the Night's Watch continuing to violate the laws of Westeros and the North by buying slaves, House Umber sends galleys into the Bay of Seals to seize slave ships before they can reach Eastwatch. The island of Skane, near Skagos, is fortified and garrisoned as a base of operations for these galleys. Freed slaves are allowed to settle on the mainland or attempt to return to their homelands. The captured ships are impounded and sold or incorporated into the Umber fleet. Influence continues to be exerted on Skagos, with some Skagosi recruited to raid the Frozen Shore and Lysene ships or as auxiliary troops. House Umber's troops remain in a state of some readiness, with tension rising in the south, ready for House Stark to call the banners.
Lys Diplomacy: As the slaves are being released upon their service, we demand that House Umber cease and desist seizing our slave ships.House Umber responds that the slaves are being given no choice about joining the Night's Watch, so they remain slaves. Slavery is outlawed in Westeros; Lys must respect this. House Umber sends emissaries to Braavos, where slavery is outlawed, asking that they assist in preventing it from spreading to Westeros. Lys: The navy continues to be expanded. Many of the explorers sent out return, though several of the ones from Sorthoryos have yet to return. Excess population in the city of Lys of non-purebloods are resettled in newly-created walled settlements in the disputed lands. Laws promoting the well treatment of slaves continue to be passed, though moset of the recent ones are lackluster. The poison and wine industries continue to flourish, and shipbuilding increasingly become a new source of income. Several squadrons are sent the newly-cleared Stepstones to claim all of the islands not yet claimed by Tyrosh, plant the Lysene flag, and build outposts in the name of Lys. Promotion of Lysene nationalism continues to be on the rise, with the promotion of breeding more purebread Lysene, and the Church of R'hllor begins to come under increasing scrutiny, with the establishment much prefering Lys's love god.
Lys Commerce: All slaves ships going to the Night's Watch begin being heavily armed and accompanied by small convoys. Pirvateers are hired to harass any ship with the Umbar flag near the waters of Skagos.- I guess no more talk of slaves in Westeros
- Lysene Diplomacy: We offer lucrative trade deals to both Volantis and Dorne if they support new Lysene claims on the Stepstones, and offer Volantis a formal alliance.
In the North, Robb Stark calls the banners on behalf of his father Ned Stark. Robb Stark begins leading the march south. Meanwhile in King's Landing, Ned flees the capital to Dragonstone where he swears his allegiance to King Stannis of the House Baratheon, First of his name, Rightful King of the Andals, the Rhoynar, and the First Men, Lord of the Seven Kingdoms. Also, Sansa Stark and Arya Stark arrive at White Harbor under the protection of Jon Snow. The betrothal between Sansa and the bastard Joffrey is obviously broken, much to her dismay. At White Harbor, Jon Snow conveys Ned's message to Lord Wyman Manderly to begin building ships for the war. After that Jon Snow escorts his sisters to Winterfell before preparing to head south to join his brother.
House Umber answers the Starks' call, sending a couple hundred men - all it has ready - south under the command of the Greatjon. "Smalljon" Umber travels south to White Harbour, along with supplies of timber for the construction of ships. The port at Driftwood Hall on the Bay of Seals, along with another on the island of Skane, are built up as commercial centres, and longships and galleys are built there. "Crowfood" Umber takes other men and ships north to raid the Frozen Shore, killing wildlings, taking plunder, and burning their villages. He finds many strangely deserted. Several small clans on Skagos swear allegiance to House Umber in return for protection from others, and several hundred auxiliaries are recruited. Most of House Umber's strength musters at Last Hearth under the command of Hother "Whoresbane" Umber, while some bowmen are hired in the Free Cities as reinforcements.
House Dondarrion also heeds the call of the one true king, and pledges undying loyalty to King Stannis of House Baratheon. Lord Beric Dondarrion leads this effort, seeking to align himself with the more powerful Baratheon compared to Renly or Joffrey. Lord Beric readies his troops and using his influence as the Lightning Lord and the Lord of Blackhaven, calls to the other minor houses of the Stormlands to also pledge alliegance to the one true king.

Lord Randyll Tarly of the Horn Hill managed the army, which comprised of a small peace time force, expanded during war. Randyll Tarly annually diverted a certain amount of funds in order to keep the state military on par with that of others, with most troops being equipped with well-maintained and modern equipment. The state navy was placed under Grand Admiral, Lord Paxter Redwyne of Arbor who likewise directed funds to the Redwyne fleet and development of Arbor, as it was naturally assumed that by establishing naval superiority, the importance of the Reach would drastically improve within the Seven Kingdoms. Along the same time, the High Paramount of the Reach served as the epicentre for regional production of food and various other commodities such as wine. The Paramount fell into mourning with the death of Loras Tyrell at the hands of the Lannisters. The Lord of the Highgarden, Mace Tyrell declared his support for Renlys claim to the Iron Throne, and readied 40,000 troops to aid Renly in his war.
House Reed: Howland Reed gathers and army of 500 men including his daughter Meera and marches north to White Harbour to join up with the main Northern army. His wife is left in charge of the rebuilding of Moat Cailin as she orders stone from Flint's Finger, the first problem is to try and straighten and reinforce Childrens tower and support Drunkards tower. Meanwhile, Jojen Reed sails west towards Lys hoping to trade poisons from the Neck with them hoping the best way to help his family fight is to prepare the best and most deadly poisons to line their spears.
Actually I think it would be better if the crannogmen stayed in the Neck and defended the North against any invaders, because crannogmen are more suited for guerrilla warfare, and don't make a great infantry force. ~ Scraw/Ned Stark

In King's Landing, Joffrey dismisses the Lord Commander, Ser Barristan Selmy, from the Kingsguard. Ser Jaime Lannister the Kingslayer succeeds him Sandor "the Hound" Clegane is named to his place. Ser Barristan leaves the city and it is unknown where he went. Also, a great number of lords are declared traitors, among them Ned and Robb Stark, Edmure Tully, and Beric Dondarrion. To succeed the traitor Ned Stark, King Joffrey names Tywin Lannister to the positions of Hand of the King, Lord Regent, and Protector of the Realm.
In the Iron Islands, Balon Greyjoy declares independence as King Balon IX. Ironborn raiders begin attack all along the western coast of Westeros. Asha is given the task of attacking the North, while Aeron attacks the Westerlands and Victarion attacks the Reach.
Renly Baratheon declares himself king and marries Lady Margaery Tyrell, bringing the Reach to support his claim. The Stormlords who did not declare for Stannis also join him, However, House Florent joins Stannis due to their relations. Renly hosts a great tourney at Bitterbridge and creates his Rainbow Guard.
Queen Daenerys Targaryen remains in Qarth as a guest. She is showered with gifts by the people of the city and nearby regions. She begins campaigning for a small fleet that will enable her to take her Khalasar.

An additional force of 40,000 (including cavalry) was raised, under the command of Randyll Tarley to protect the Lord Paramount from any attack by Joffrey Baratheon. Meanwhile, to combat the raids by the Ironborn, Lord Mace Tyrell directed his son, Willas Tyrell with a force of 10,000 men to the Shield Islands and requested the Grand Admiral Lord Paxter Redwyne to guard the Reach coast and islands with the Redwyne Fleet.

- 90,000 to be precise. It is important to note that the Reach has the largest population, and standing army in Westeros. Moving on, as per a semi-canon source in 2005, the Reach could raise a force ranging from 80,000 - 100,000 and this source is A Game of Thrones RPG & Resource Book which was approved of by GRRM.
Lys: Warships continue to be built, but as almost all of the lumber comes from finite resources of the Disputed Lands the City begins growing large tree groves. Privateers that would normally be in the Stepstones have mainly been driven off, either to the coves of other Free Cities, Westeros, or the Basalisk Islands, which provides a massive boon to the local economy. Nationalistic fervor continues to rise, and the promotion of the Weeping Lady of Lyse over the Red God, and several large temples to the Weeping Lady are built. Expansion of the slave military caste continues, with most of them being bred only from pureblood Lyseni and a few finer specimens of other races, and any child born that won't meat the standards will become an administrational slave. Food stocks are built up to prepare for the coming of Winter, with not only the last harvest from the Disputed Lands being well preserved but also increases in fishing and imports. On the Stepstones several small colonies and naval outposts are built and stocked with seasoned soldiers. Several expeditionary ships from Sorthoryos return with new maps of the West coast, which seemed to contain no cities; only about two thirds of the ships returned and each crew has lost a portion to some horrific tales of black deities or savage half men of the continent.
- Lysene Diplomacy: Diplomats officially visit the claimant Renly and a deal is proposed. Under this deal, Lys would provide naval support and direct military support in coastal areas, in which case Lys would begin an immediate occupation of Cape Wrath on behalf of King Renly, as well as harass the ships of those who oppose Renly. In return Renly when on the thrones would guarantee political and limited military support in near-future conflicts with other Free Cities as well as give Lys special trade rights throughout the Seven Kingdoms (MOD RESPONSE).

In the North, the Bolton treachery is ended. Roose Bolton, upon capture, is exiled to the Night's Watch at the Shadow Tower. His bastard Ramsay Snow tries to escape with the help of his servant Reek, and they are both executed. Meanwhile, the Northern forces fight the Riverlands in the south. Jaime Lannister is captured but at the cost of Torrhen and Eddard Karstark. Meanwhile, Ned decides that Theon Greyjoy can live unless Stannis demands that he is executed. Until the King makes a decision, Theon is kept as a prisoner in Riverrun although he is treated well. The fleet in White Harbor begins to take form as ships begin to be built. Robb Stark, commanding the Northern forces in the west, makes great victories and seizes lots of land. I'm just going based on the books. A smaller force under the command of Galbart Glover is sent east to join the Vale forces and help the Stormlands forces under Beric Dondarrion. On the way south, they attack small forces loyal to Joffrey in and around the Crownlands. Ned remains on Dragonstone to aid King Stannis and takes a disliking to his Red Priestess, Melisandre. More later.

House Umber, along with other loyal Northern forces, successfully occupies the Bolton lands. A garrison under the Greatjon's brother is placed in the Dreadfort. The people of the Bolton lands are fairly happy about the change of ruler, and most of the Bolton forces join the loyalist ones. With news of raids on the Stony Shore reaching Last Hearth, the Umber forces in the North split, with some remaining at Last Hearth and the Dreadfort to deal with any remaining Bolton forces, and the remainder marching east to repel those raids. In the south, Umber troops continue to fight under the Starks. More longships are built to repel wildling raiders, and more Skagosi are recruited.
House Velaryon of Driftmark: We maintain our loyalty and give most of our army and navy to King Stannis Baratheon, and in return we politely ask him to acknowledge Monford Velaryon, Lord of Driftmark as Master of Ships once he finally takes his rightful position on the Iron Throne.
House Reed: The sudden destruction of the Bolton family which has been around since the First Men leaving them no heirs worries Howland with the idea that Ned may have become more than a little headstrong but follows his orders and retreats to the Neck ready for any Iron Born attack. Meera meanwhile deserts her father and marches south with a tiny band of 20 men determined to fight in the war for the Starks seeing no honour in just waiting in the North. Jojen continues buying new poisons and before heading to Dragonstone hearing of the Red Priestess and wishing to meet a woman claiming to be able to see into the future.
- House Umber offers a marriage alliance between the two houses, proposing that "Smalljon" Umber marry Meera Reed.
- Howland Reed gladly agrees to the alliance but with Meera no longer at the Neck nor often willing to agree to things purely for political basis the marriage will have to wait a few years until after the war.

In Starfall, Ser Gerold Dayne, Regent of Starfall, receives a letter from his kinsman, Lord Edric Dayne, who is under the wardship of Lord Beric Dondarrion, telling the Regent to raise the armies of Starfall and High Hermitage, as well as the surrounding lands under the vassalage of House Dayne. Lord Edric Dayne, under the influence of his tutor, Lord Beric Dondarrion, has decided to support the claim of King Stannis Baratheon. The troops raised by Ser Gerold Dayne are ordered to go through the Prince's Pass to the Reach and attempt to meet up with the Florents. Along the way Ser Gerold attempts to garner support for the claim of King Stannis Baratheon.
Night's Watch: The military has approximately 1,000 troops. With Many resources coming into our territory from the North, we continue thank Ned Stark for helping us out. Since there are many raids continuing on, all towns and villages in the territory called the Wall are put in high alert. The scouting parties come back from the Frostfangs and tells Cotter Pyke to get men to watch the north side of the wall. We continue to get boat loads of slaves from the Lys. When we get them, we immediately give them free status and put them into the military. We continue to get lumber from the Haunted Forest.
- Lysene Diplomacy: We propose a change of our agreement: slaves for lumber instead of gold.
House Dondarrion: Lord Beric Dondarrion continues to ready his forces in preparation for war, although with the news that he is now surrounded by forces loyal to Renly he maintains a defensive stance for the time being, hoping to hold out with his forces until forces loyal to Stannis from the north can arrive. Much of the army is deployed to the west to deal with the attack by the Reachmen. Major castles and forts under pro-Stannis control are supplied and fortified in preparation for the battles expected to come.

Renly dies before he leaves Bitterbridge for unknown reasons. It is suspected that he died of poison but no one is sure who did it. Many suspect that Joffrey or Stannis had an agent on the inside, possibly a Stormlord or even a Reachlord.

Looks like the Reach is going to withdraw from war
Aeron Greyjoy sacks Lannisport and besieges Casterly Rock. He is thrown back by men led by Daven Lannister and returns to the sea. Asha Greyjoy raids stuff along the Stony Shore and Sea Dragon Point. She later takes Deepwood Motte. Meanwhile, Victarion Greyjoy attacks the Shield Islands and seizes two of them.
Daenerys Targaryen and her son are forcefully removed from Qarth. Ser Barristan Selmy joins her.
The High Paramount of the Reach: The state continued to develop under The Lord of the Highgarden, Mace Tyrell. Lord Randyll Tarly of the Horn Hill managed the army, which comprised of a small peace time force, expanded during war. Randyll Tarly annually diverted a certain amount of funds in order to keep the state military on par with that of others, with most troops being equipped with well-maintained and modern equipment. The state navy was placed under Grand Admiral, Lord Paxter Redwyne of Arbor who likewise directed funds to the Redwyne fleet and development of Arbor, as it was naturally assumed that by establishing naval superiority, the importance of the Reach would drastically improve within the Seven Kingdoms. Along the same time, the High Paramount of the Reach served as the epicentre for regional production of food and various other commodities such as wine. The 40,000 army under Garlan Tyrell rapidly advanced into Stormland territory, given the numerical and logistical advantage. However, when news reached that Renly Baratheon had died, Lord Mace Tyrell ordered his son and the army to return to the Reach, and the army withdrew from the Stormlands soon afterwards. With Renly no longer alive, the Reach announced a shift in its policy towards neutrality and would pledge allegiance to whichever side won the war. The High Paramount of the Reach then turned its attention towards the Ironborn who had launched a series of unprovoked attacks upon the Reach coast. To counter this, Willas Tyrell was appointed to defend the Shield Islands with a force of 20,000 men, whilst an additional force of 30,000 was assembled, awaiting the arrival of Garlan Tyrell. The Lord of the Highgarden, Mace Tyrell requested the Lord of the Arbor, the Lords of the Shield Islands and the coastal Lords to divert their resources to raising a naval fleet capable of crushing the Iron Fleet, and retaking the occupied Shield islands [Mod Response].

Lys:
- Lysene Diplomacy: The City offers Daenerys and her Khalasar haven and aid in Lys. As Renly is now we offer a similar deal as the previous one to Stannis, being that Lys will receive special trade rights in the Crownlands and political and and possible military support against other Free Cities, in return for Lysene naval and coastal support, as well as harass ships from Westeros that are not loyal to Stannis.
- She rejects.
- Why? She's looking for a fleet to take her to Westeros and my navy is arguable even better than Bravos' at this point.
- She is already en route to Slaver's Bay. Perhaps she will go to Lys after that.
House Umber continues to participate in the spreading conflict across Westeros. The last vestiges of Bolton resistance are put down, with the Bolton troops surrendering for the promise of an amnesty and a leader who doesn't routinely flay people. These troops, along with Skagosi auxiliaries, join Crowfood Umber's forces on the Stony Shore, where they help repel several ironborn raids. Hearing of the fall of Deepwood Motte, Crowfood's forces march north to retake the castle, recruiting scouts from the Wolfswood. Cut off in Deepwood, with the surrounding area hostile, the iron born are unable to stop themselves from being surrounded and besieged. In the south, troops under the command of the Greatjon fight for the Starks.
House Dondarrion: The death of Renly Baratheon startles Lord Beric Dondarrion, who hadn't expected that aspect of the war to end so soon. Privately, the houses loyal to Stannis celebrate the death of the pretender, however public mournings are established, as Renly was the one true king's brother. Despite the withdrawal of forces from the Reach, the mobilized forces remain on guard in case of further conflict. With Renly dead, Lord Beric Dondarrion asks for pledges of alliegance to Stannis Baratheon from the remaining Stormland houses, prmising amnesty for those that accept (Mod Response Please). With fighting now decreased in the Stormlands, Lord Beric Dondarrion makes plans to march north and assist in the attack on King's Landing with the rest of Stannis' forces, but have yet to do so.
- Mod Response: Most Stormlands houses accept, but some return to their keeps and try to keep a neutral stance.
House Reed: Howland Reed heads north to the Wall to ask Roose permission to takeover stewardship of his land before heading to Ned Stark to ask the same. Meanwhile is wife completes the repairs to the already constructed three towers of Moat Cailin and so begins construction of a proper moat and a fourth tower and hall for greater defense especially with the threat of the Ironborn increasing. Meera meanwhile joins up with men outside Kings Landing waiting for the attack to begin.

In the North, Ned Stark commands the men there to lead the defense against the Ironborn. Ser Rodrik Cassel is placed in charge of this. Robb Stark continues to secure great victories in the Westerlands, storming the Crag and Ashemark and defeating a host led by Stafford Lannister at Oxcross. The eastern forces led by Lord Glover continue the Siege of King's Landing, waiting for Beric Dondarrion's host to join them and for the King to attack the city from the sea. Jon Snow arrives in the south and joins his brother in the west. There is also a surprise. Their sister Arya has come with him. At the Crag, Robb Stark is injured and Jon has to drag him away from the battlefield. Robb is sent back to Riverrun to heal and Jon Snow takes up command of the Northern forces. more later

King Joffrey's Hand, Tyrion Lannister manages to get Myrcella and Tommen out of the capital. Myrcella is offered to Trystane Martell to ensure at the very least Dornish neutrality. Meanwhile, Prince Tommen is sent to Braavos from where he will later move on to another city where he can be kept safe.

The watchers of the wall see a bunch of free folks from the Frostfangs coming closer to the wall. Our troops arm themselves for battle. Mance Rayder demands that we open up the wall. Benjen Stark who is with his squad does not follow the orders from Mance Rayder. The free folks get angry and attack us. We send all of our troops to fight the free folks.
You don't control Mance Rayder. Also, Benjen is missing. The Night's Watch is just a series of castles along the Wall, and only 3 of 19 castles are manned.
House Reed: WE continue the rebuilding of Moat Cailin but also begin to make defences throughout the neck to defend from the North and the South depending upon where our enemies will come from. Jojen landing at Dragonstone begins to try and learn from the maester there deciding that when the war ends he will go to Oldtown to train to be a maester as it may help him further on in life.
