This is the Shattered World Resources page. Here, you can see what resources there are, the production and consumption of resources of your country and other player-led countries and other stuff regarding resources. Resources are important because they are required to build factories, certain military units as well as making you a profit on the global market. All goods are rounded to the nearest 100,000 unless if it is uranium.

Consumption

This is how much your population consumes. The amount of consumption is based off factories, electrical production, population and GDP per capita. If your consumption is greater then your production, then it will take supplies away from your stockpile. If you have no goods in your stockpile, then goods will be taken from trade, which costs money as "Imports". Everybody starts with a stockpile of 100,000, except for uranium, which is 100 tons. You can also sell your stockpile for money or other goods.

Production

This is how much your factories produce. The amount of resources produced is based off factories. At the beginning of the game, all of your factories are divided evenly as possible between the resources. If you produce more resources then you consume, they are divided evenly between trade and stockpile unless said otherwise.

Factories

Factories are used to produce resources. Your base amount of factories is your GDP divided by 100$ million then rounded to the closet full number. Factories are divided equally as possible between states and resources. Building a factory costs $50 million but makes 100$ million in revenue for you. However, they also demand 25,000 tons of industrial goods and metal ore and 1,000 people (Until Automated Working is discovered). Factories can be captured and used by the enemy too.

GDP per capita

GDP per capita is the GDP divided by the population. This has two effects, 1) It affects your diplomatic reputation positively, 2) It increases the amount of electricity and consumer product your population consumes. If your GDP per capita is between 0-10,000 USD, you consume 200 pounds of consumer goods and 200 kWh per person. If it is between 10,000-20,000 USD, you consume 400 pounds of consumer goods and 400 kWh per person. 20,000-30,000 USD, 600 pounds of consumer goods and 600 kWh per person. 30,000-40,000 USD, 800 pounds of consumer goods and 800 kWh per person. 40,000-50,000 USD, 1 ton of consumer goods and 1000 kWh per person. 50,000-60,000 USD, 1.2 tons of consumer goods and 1200 kWh per person. 60,000-70,000 USD, 1.4 tons of consumer goods and 1400 kWh per person. 70,000-80,000 USD, 1.6 tons of consumer goods and 1600 kWh per person. 80,000-90,000 USD, 1.8 tons of consumer goods and 1800 kWh per person. 90,000-100,000 USD, 2 tons of consumer goods and 2000 kWh per person. If it is over 100,000 USD, then they consume one 4 tons of consumer goods and 5000 kWh per person. Below is a chart of GDP per capita for every human country:

Country GDP per capita
England $35,930.51
Scotland $44,673.10
Sumatra $11,430.90
Portugal $29,661.09
Romania $23,571.57
Bulgaria $20,038.80
Benin $2,199.69

Global Market

The Global Market, also known as the World Market, can be used to sell and buy goods, money and units. Here, you can buy goods you do not have or can't produce enough. You can also sell goods here, giving an additional source of income. You can also sell and buy units, although their prices would be higher then making them. The global market is a great place for a country to survive.

Resources Edit

These are the resources that you can produce. Each one of them have different demands, prices and consumption by population. There are ten of these resources. They are agriculture, timber, metal ore, uranium, petroleum, electricity, water, consumer goods, industrial and armaments factories.

Agriculture

Agriculture is the amount of food that the population consumes. Agriculture is easy to produce, but sells for very little. Each farm produces around 50,000 tons of food a year. One person consumes one-half ton of food a year. One ton of food sells for 100 USD. These types of factories are known as farms. Below is a chart showing how many farms, production, demand, stockpile and trade per player;

Metal Ore

Metal ore is used for consumer goods, factories, military units and vehicles. For every ton of consumer goods you make, 100 pounds of metal ore is required. A person also consumes ten tons of metal ore a year. Each mine produces around 500,000 tons of metal ore. Metal ore sells for 200 USD per ton. When building factories and units, you use your stockpile instead of your consumed. These types of factories are know as mines. Below is a chart showing how many mines, production, demand, stockpile and trade per player;

Electricity

Electricity is used to power many things, from street lights to computers. Unlike other industries, there are three types of factories, Level One, Level Two and Level Three. Level One (Solar Farm), uses 20 tons of metal ore and one million USD but only produces one million kWh of power. Level Two (Oil Power Plants) uses 1000 tons of metal and 50 million USD but produces 50 million kWh of power. They also demand 500,000 barrels of petroleum. Level Three (Nuclear Power Plants), uses 2500 tons of metal and 250 million USD but produces 250 million kWh of power. They demand 500 tons of uranium. The amount of electricity consumed is judged by GDP per capita. One kWh of power sells for 100 USD. Everybody starts with Level Two power plants. Below is a chart showing how many electrical plants, production, demand, stockpile and trade per player;

Consumer Goods

Consumer goods are the amount goods the population uses for non-important things, such as toys, computers or couches. The amount of consumer goods consumed is judge by GDP per capita and produced is judged by the amount of consumer factories. Consumer goods are very expensive to buy, yet are very good goods. Each consumer good factory produces around 20,000 consumer goods a year/turn. Consumer goods sell for 5000 USD. These types of factories are know as consumer factories.
